Promoting and Encouraging Native Arts in South Dakota

Located in heart of the Badlands in the town of Interior South Dakota,

the Native West Trading Company is your source for variety of Native American Art, Crafts, Gifts and so much more!!

Our Store

"The old Lakota was wise. He knew that a man’s heart, away from nature, becomes hard; he knew that lack of respect for growing, living things soon led to lack of respect for humans, too. So he kept his children close to nature’s softening influence."
— Standing Bear, Oglala Lakota

The Real Deal

One of the most beautiful little shops I've ever seen. Driving highway 44 was awesome anyway (way better than I-90), and this stop made it even more worthwhile. The prices are reasonable for local, handmade Native arts and crafts, and the selection is wide. The employee was also very kind. If you're going to get a genuine souvenir from South Dakota, this is one place where you won't go wrong.  Trip Advisor Review
